Wesley So extended his leadership by winning his game, whereas his direct opponents didn't. Wesley played really well a fantastic positional game. He's definitely the more consistent and on-form player, with 4 wins and no losses; Wesley is the only undefeated player so far in the event. He leads SOlo with a full point over the pack with Carlsen, Eljanov, Wei Yi, Aronian and Karjakin. Three rounds is still a lot of chess, but Wesley seems to be playing the best game in this event and after conquering the Sinquefield Cup and the Grand Chess Tour, the American talent could add this important event under his belt.

In a Queen's Indian defense, and playing an old fashioned line, Aronian defeated Rapport in a brilliant game. Levon built his advantage slowly, but then came up with a fantastic combination that gave him the full point.

Karjakin won with Andreikin, who's not having a good tournament. Today's win allows Sergey to join the pack sharing second place and, with three rounds to go, he's not out of the race for the final victory.

After 10 rounds, and with 3 rounds to go. Wesley So leads with a full point over the pack with Carlsen, Eljanov, Wei Yi, Aronian and Karjakin. Tomorrow is a rest day. Play resumes Friday at 7:30 am EST -- 13:30 CET.

Winner of today's New In Chess sponsored Trivia is smeagol. Congratulations!
